Thomas Tiidus

Thomas Tiidus is a recent graduate (MSc Geography) from Laurier University where he researched the practicality and feasibility of using UAV and UAS for agriculture in Southern Ontario.

Thomas has since then been working with Andrews Infrastructure as a GIS Technician/ UAV Applications Consultant exploring practical applications for drones in the infrastructure inspection industry.

Thomas has had extensive experience utilizing drones for practical applications in both agriculture and infrastructure inspection, including the use of drones in confined spaces. Much of his work has revolved around utilizing and integrating existing GIS technologies in drone observation methodologies and mapping.
